Patients
We welcome patients who do not qualify for county- or government-sponsored programs programs such as MSI or MediCal, and cannot afford private insurance. Schedule an appointment with us.
Patients can expect professional clinical treatment in a safe and respectful environment at every appointment. Patients will first be seen by a nursing student, and will then be interviewed and examined by two medical students. An attending physician will subsequently assess the patient and order lab tests and prescriptions as needed.
Blood draws and lab tests will be conducted on site by Quest Diagnostics. Patients will be asked to schedule a follow-up appointment to review their results. Costs for prescribed medications will be covered through a combination of resources including clinic funds, low-cost medications programs, and patient assistant programs.
Services that are not currently offered are available to UCIOC patients at the Hurtt Family Health Clinic (HFHC) with a referral.
