Thank you very much for your interest in volunteering your time to supervise the work of students at our clinic! This is a project run entirely by students, but it would not be possible for clinic to take place if there was no faculty or licensed preceptor presence. Currently we are unable to accept non-UCI affiliated physicians/practitioners. However, if you are still interested, please contact us through our contact page.

Description of Clinic Duties

Clinic is every Saturday from 8 am to noon. Preceptors can arrive at 8:30, but must stay until every patient has left the clinic. Each MS1/MS2 will be paired with an MS3/MS4 depending on the availability of the latter. The Lestonnac Free Clinic, out of which we operate, is a fully licensed community clinic with which we have an affiliation agreement. As UCI full-time or volunteer faculty, liability is covered. You need to see and examine every patient the students have seen, review the EMR documentation, mark the level of visit, and sign off. The floor manager can help you with the EMR. We aim for at least two preceptors at each clinic session. Once you have been approved, please sign up for specific dates here. If you can not make it to clinic on a day that you had picked, please give as much advance notice as possible by e-mailing us at uci.outreach.clinics(at)gmail.com.

How to Get Involved
